Software Testing Weekly is a free newsletter published by More Than Testing Ltd. This page explains what data we collect and why. We keep it short on purpose — we don't do much with your data.

What we collect
- Your email address, when you subscribe or submit a sponsorship request form.
- Whether emails are opened and which links are clicked.
- Standard server logs (IP address, browser type) when you visit the website.
Why we collect it
- To send you the newsletter.
- To understand what content is useful and improve it.
- To keep the website and newsletter secure.
- To share anonymous, aggregated audience statistics with sponsors — never individual data.
Who handles it for us
We use trusted providers who process data on our behalf, under our instructions — not for their own purposes:
- Ghost — hosts the website and stores subscriber records and analytics.
- Mailgun — delivers the newsletter and measures opens and clicks.
- Formspree — receives sponsorship request forms.
- Tally — receives links submitted for the newsletter.
Cookies
The website uses only the cookies it needs to function. You can block cookies in your browser, though some features may stop working.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe anytime using the link at the bottom of every email.
- Ask us to access, correct, or delete your data — email contact@morethantesting.com.
International transfers
Our providers may store data outside the UK, including in the United States. They are required to protect it to UK and EU standards.
