Cypress is known for promoting the App Actions over Page Object pattern. However, Dilpreet Johal thinks these two can coexist and shows an example.

Sumon Dey explains why test automation is not only about using existing solutions, such as tools, libraries and frameworks, but it's also about creating helpful scripts in a DIY fashion. Examples included.

I liked Julia Pottinger's simple guide to creating a test automation strategy by using the Five Ws questions.

We all like to implement new tests but we also need to know how to remove the ones that are not so helpful anymore. Jamaal Todd gives a hint on how to find and get rid of some of the least efficient and effective tests with a simple rule.

How do you choose the right testing tools? Paul Gerrard wrote a really good overview of different categories that can help you in comparing and choosing the best tools for your particular case.

JUnit 5 is a powerful Java test runner with many features for effective testing. Eric Ampire shows how to effectively use one of them — Extensions.

If you're looking for a summer read on software testing, look no further. Blake Norrish put together an amazing list of books recommended by other software testers.
